ISO 31000 — Risk Management
ISO 31000 certification validates the capacity to establish and operate a risk management framework within an institution. Directly aligned to bmsom's Central Reporting Dashboard service stage. Relevant to government ministries managing donor-funded programmes, NGOs with compliance obligations, and any institution operating in environments where risk management is a documented requirement of international partnership agreements.

ISO 37301 — Compliance Management Systems
ISO 37301 certification demonstrates that an institution has established a functioning compliance management system — the processes, controls, and culture required to meet legal, regulatory, and ethical obligations. Directly relevant to government institutions required to demonstrate compliance to donors, international partners, or oversight bodies, and to NGOs whose operating licences or funding agreements require evidence of institutional compliance frameworks.
The certification earned in Mogadishu carries the same international weight as one earned in Geneva or Nairobi.

Lead Implementer
Designs and leads the full implementation of a management system from initial gap analysis through certification audit. The most advanced practitioner tier across all three standards.

Plans and conducts formal management system audits. Qualified to assess organisations against the relevant ISO standard and produce formal audit reports.
Foundation
Establishes core knowledge of the relevant ISO standard. The entry point for professionals and institutions beginning their certification journey.
